Hey planner babes! Today I'm sharing 3 creepy cute planner supplies with you! They are super easy to make and perfect for Halloween (or any time of year). I'm using the new Papercakes by Serena Bee paper collections* to make these. Head over to the Papercakes shop to grab the papers for yourself!
Before we get started on the supplies, let's take a closer look! These papers are super cute and I can't wait to keep using them to make crafty goodies for Halloween and beyond.
Just fyi, I used my Cricut Explore Air 2* to cut everything out and I've made sure to list the design numbers (when available) below if you want to use the same ones. But you could easily use a Silhouette, manual die machine, punches, or even scissors to create any shapes you like. I'm also using a personal sized planner today, but use whatever planner you'd like! I've listed and linked the supplies below for each tutorial. Let's get started!
To create the shaker dashboard, layer a cutout spiderweb card (#MCCF3F4) over a piece of acetate, then again over a piece of purple glitter paper (all sized 3.25"x6.5"). Use Tombow Xtreme Adhesive to hold everything in place, then add some silver glitter Thickers in a phrase you like. I chose Eat Drink & Be Scary. Slip everything into an Avery Elle stamp pouch, then seal up the left side with a WRMK Fuse tool, making sure to leave room for punched holes. Next, add some of the Papercakes potion mixes then seal up the top, again with the Fuse tool. Punch holes to fit into your planner and boom! New spooky cute shaker dashboard. I love how the sequins and beads move around the raised Thickers.
To create a shaker paperclip, layer a diecut over a piece of acetate. I used a Papercakes skull, but any cute skull will do. Repeat with a second diecut that is the reverse image/shape. Use Tombow Xtreme Adhesive to glue a paperclip to the back of the first diecut. Add a border of Tombow Foam Tape to the back of this same diecut, making sure to overlap the paperclip (it helps hold it in place better!). Remove the foam tape backing, add some sparkly bits to the center open area, then top with the other diecut. Now you have a shaker paperclip!
For the heart paperclip, adhere a black glitter cutout on top of a heart diecut (#MFCB34) of the same size using Tombow MONO + Adhesive Permanent. Flip over and add Tombow Xtreme Adhesive and a paperclip, like we did in the skull paperclip. Back the entire heart with foam tape, peel off the backing, then top with a second heart diecut. I think the conversation heart paper from the new Spooky Pastel paper pack is super cute for this clip!
Creating these dividers was super easy. I used a combination of the Spooky Pastel and October Nights papers. Since the papers are 8"x8", they work perfectly for personal planners! I just uploaded the .png images to Cricut Design Space and sized them up for my personal planner (4.25"x6.75"). I chose not to cut the holes with my machine since I was fiddling with the size and wasn't sure they'd line up right. Then all you have to do is cut them out of whatever paper you'd like, punch some holes, and add to your planner! I didn't laminate mine because I used a heavier stock photo paper so the patterns and colors would print vibrantly, but you could laminate yours if you prefer. I've left the image file down at the bottom of this post for you to download and use a Cricut or Silhouette to cut out for yourself.
And that is it for today's project share! I hope you enjoyed the tutorials and found them helpful. Make sure to check out the new Papercakes by Serena Bee paper collections. Her designs are my favorites! And to see more projects featuring Papercakes, click here. Thanks for reading!
