Over on Instagram I shared a peek inside my drawing bag, and y'all really wanted to see what else was inside. Here is a detailed look!

I used to keep everything in a small freebie bag I got from Sephora. However, I've since upgraded because I have been drawing more and wanted more supplies at hand. The Happy Planner bag is perfect for carrying all of my drawing needs!

It a little bigger than a standard Happy Planner and has So Much Room inside! It has two sides, each with a very functional zip-around, and top handles for carrying. Each side has a combination of pockets and compartments. The first side I'm showing has two removable pouches and a large pocket. The second side has 2 zipped compartments and an elasticated pouch. Let's take a look inside!

You can't have a drawing kit without pencils and markers! I really enjoy the Tombow MONO Pencils - the 2H is my favorite. I'm not particular about which marker colors I carry, these are just some extra Tombow Dual Brush Markers from my stash.

I also carry fine point markers (mine are the TwinTones by Tombow) and my most-reached-for drawing supplies (drawing pens, erasers, sharpener, small ruler) in Iris photo boxes to keep them contained. They fit perfectly in the cases and the cases fit perfectly in the pouch on this side of the planner bag. 

On the other side of the bag I keep my watercolors and waterbrushes. I love the Inktense watercolor pencils for sketching out designs and the Koi Sketch Box is small, but packs a mighty punch. Fun fact: I used these pencils and watercolors exclusively when I was painting my Merry Harry Christmas designs!

It's not a drawing kit without a sketchbook. I like this small one by Strathmore for on the go because it fits perfectly in the elasticated pocket! Mixed media paper is my favorite to keep in my drawing bag because you can use it with pretty much anything - markers, pens and pencils, even watercolors. 

I am so obsessed with the Botanical Line Drawing book by Peggy Dean that I even took it camping with me earlier this summer. It's full of gorgeous line drawings that she breaks down in to easy to understand steps. They are very do-able even if you're not a "drawer".

Today's blog I am going to be showing you all a "mini" plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner using LEFT OVER stickers ONLY!

I love buying kits but it depends on the design for me because I always end up with left overs. PopFizzPaper's Nordic Winter Kit is one of those kits that I absolutely LOVE and I ended up doing a no-white space spread in my Erin Condren middle of November and I told myself with this kit I am going to use this kit again by using the left overs sheets! So that's what I am going to do...

All you need is your planner, leftover sheets from any kit [again I'm using PopFizzPaper's Nordic Winter], and a pen.

Since this mini happy planner is undated I am going to be using date covers and numbers from my monthly Nordic Winter kit to date my week. I also added my payday and day off flags to the week. This quote is one of my favorites "It's not much but it's home" and it's so fitting for this week because this weekend we will be traveling back to my hometown for a birthday party and to celebrate Christmas early with my family there.

Next I just went ahead and put down stickers throughout the week for what I already know is happening for that particular day. Little checklists, half boxes, headers, flags, icons and a few deco stickers.

As you can see I still have a lot of stickers left to use for another spread or combine these with other left overs from other kits. And, I did not grab any other stickers from my collection I just used the left over sheets from this kit. Lastly, I'm just going to grab my pen(s) that I want to use and I'm using my two favorites; Papermate Flair in black for my main pen and the Pilot Precise V5 RT to write smaller on the appointment labels and flags.

That's it! I really liked the way this came out and I'm so proud of myself for using these left overs sheets. Try it out! Let's grab our supplies and get started with our journaling. I choose to journal for the holiday week of Thanksgiving. I was traveling this entire week so I didn't have anything to plan out that week since everything I did was just spur of the moment since I was on vacation. All you need is basically a notebook or even a sheet of paper folded in half; you don't need to go out to buy any thing for this. You will also need monthly PopFizzPaper journal prompts sticker sheet(s), decorative stickers if you please, days of the week and date stickers [optional] you can totally write the days in as well, a pen and some cute washi tape.

I don't know about you, but My monthly spreads usually are neglected when it comes to the whole decorating thing is concerned. I just jot down dates and leave it be. The new PopFizzPaper month kits have changed that though! 

I thought I would show you how I plan ahead, with my January spread. I know what you are thinking. January, Brooklynne it's only November? Well I like to have my months planned in advance so that everything that goes into the planner will go well with it.

Today I bring you a different kind of Plan With Me. Originally I thought I'd just show you how I use various PopFizzPaper standard rainbow stickers to pull together a planner spread when I don't have a kit, but as I sat down a different Idea came to me. What if I some how turned my Happy Planner into an hourly layout. Could it work? I decided I would try!

First I pulled together all Rainbow colourway stickers I had ( I swear I have others but I have no idea where they have wandered off to) and got to work. The first thing I did was cover up the notes sidebar. I usually use the bottom stickers from our kit to do this but instead used a cool rainbow washi I have. I carefully matched up the lines as best I could and worried about the rest for later. 

Next was to set up the top header section. These new rainbow glitter header strips were just the thing I needed. I thought long and hard about what I would do, and settled on a colour a day.  everyday except Saturday and Sunday got a glitter header. I used one of our weekend banners which also come in the rainbow colourway to mark off Saturday and Sunday. Next were the individual days.

This is where I started to regret this "brilliant" idea I had. First thing I realised was that I didn't have enough headers in each colour for the times I needed. Luckily the sheet of pastel headers stepped up to bat and saved the day. So I alternated the rainbow colour for the day with the pastel version. This worked for everyday except Tuesday which was orange cause we don't have a pastel orange header so I used pink again for that day. Each day took a total of 14 headers. I finished off with another glitter header to leave space for not timed items like bills and chores. 

With all the stickers laid down, I put times down and stuck my very old work schedule header stickers over the time space in which I start. With that done I started putting down bill due stickers, and used rainbow puppy paws with skinny appointment labels for my dog's food. I love these rainbow TV trackers too which remind me I need to watch the new episodes of shows. The great thing about each day being a colour was that I ran out of space on Thursday so I could put them under Friday and know they belong to Thursday.

Last I had this full checkbox sitting around from a previous kit so I chucked that and a few adult rewards stickers in the sidebar for a bit of fun. I might fill the sidebar with rewards this week. I'm pretty satisfied with how it all came out. I'm not sure I will ever do it again but it was a neat idea.

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably know that I have been on the hunt for a good solid travel planner. I recently started using the DIYfish inserts for a Traveler's Notebook and I'm really happy with them, they are the perfect combination of Weekly and Daily format.

One of my favourite things about these inserts is that I can easily decorate the week to match my Happy Planner spread. As you can see here I used the lush and stunning Beauty Babe kit which I just looooooove. This was a great kit to use as it came with so many extra stickers!

The first thing I do is decorate the weekly overview page and the notes sections to jazz the whole thing up. Each week I use this section differently, I jot down notes from phone calls or meetings, todo lists, mood tracking, etc. I love that these habit trackers work soooo well for my dog's meals for the week, this way when I'm out of the house I can tell my flatmate what to feed him.

I love the way these pages came out, and they feel so happy and friendly! They are ready to document my week! 

I decided to show you just the Saturday as it has both the weekly look and what I do for marking the weekend. I use the same washi that I used in my planner along the sides of the pages, using my paper trimmer to remove any excess. Next I cover the bottom line with a thin washi, luckily I have this thin gold washi that matches the one from the kit. If I don't have a matching thin washi I just use a paper trimmer to trim the washi down to size.

Lastly for a normal weekday I add a today sticker and cover up the check boxes with some great check flags. Simple, fun but productive. The weekend scriptbanners look amazing and fit perfectly under the chronodex. I only mark Saturday, but you could use on on Sunday too!!!

Hello everyone!  It’s Jennifer here, and today I’d like to share a fun, quick, and easy birthday calendar insert I made for my Happy Planner!  I prefer to use checklist flag stickers instead of the full box checklists on my weekly spreads, so I love finding creative ways to use up my sticker stash!  I had a perpetual calendar from Erin Condren that I used to list important birthdays and anniversaries, but I didn’t like it very much because I didn’t have a ton of birthdays to list.  Every month I had to remember where I put the thing, and most of it looked pretty blank.  So I thought this would be a perfect use for my extra full box checklist stickers!

For this project, I used: 

• Happy Planner sized full box checklist stickers left over from the Rio kit, the Daydreams and Ice Creams kit, and the Harbor Dreams kit. 
• January thru June Monthly Header Stickers (DA20-1)
• July thru December Monthly Header Stickers (DA20-2)
• Cardstock
• Happy Planner Punch
• Washi 

First, I cut down my cardstock to fit my Happy Planner, or approximately 9 ¼ x 7 inches, and punched it with the Happy Planner punch.  Next, I put down my full box stickers, 6 on each side of the page.  I could have gone with colors that matched my cardstock better, but I thought it would be fun to try and pick colored checklists that went along with each month:  icy blue for January; pink for February; shamrock green for March; etc. 

Don’t forget to label your boxes! These monthly header labels are perfect for this project, plus you’ll have plenty left over for other things!  As a finishing touch, I added some confetti and “celebrate” washi from my stash to make things a little more festive. 

Now all you have to do is fill out the calendar!  I was able to transfer all of my important birthdays and anniversaries from my perpetual calendar to my insert, so now I’ll always have the information with me!

I wanted to show you up close how I use my favorites. My number 6 favorite would definitely be the half boxes because I like the way these icons look inside of the boxes. I usually stick a Happy Birthday inside of a half box or on the left side of an appointment label just so I can be able to write down whose birthday it is. Same thing with the football stickers I stick them on the left side of a half box and right in the game and time.

Appointment labels I like to use them at the bottom of my checklists for anything important and I’ve been using them a lot to keep track of my blog schedule on my monthly calender it just gives the calander a more cleaner and organized look. By usuing a sticker it just makes preplanning in my monthly calender a little easier because I can just remove the sticker and replace it with a new appointment label. If you're a student like me try using the appointment labels for scheduling due dates for assignments or even upcoming quizzes and tests.

Here is a before the pen using the Midnight Galaxy kit and my top 5 favorites. You can see I have a birthday and football stickers both in half boxes, Instagram tear drop icons for the days I plan to post photos on Instagram, there is an appointment label which I plan to use for what assignment I have due for that day, and there is also a bill due because this week was the week of the 1^st and rent is always due on the 1^st for me. That’s it these are my top 5 and how I use them!
