June Journal Prompts in a Personal Planner
Personal planners are interesting things. Everyone uses them for different reasons. Perhaps it is the size and the portable nature of it. For others they do not even keep a calendar in theirs they just use them to track health and fitness. While there are others who may use it for a smaller condensed calendar, fitness, goals and motivation. I tend to fall into this last category but I also keep a journal.
The Pop Fizz Paper Journal prompts are perfect for the personal planner size because they are a smaller font, they fit the page width perfect and they give you plenty of space to answer the prompt. Another issue I find that I have when I journal is that I do not always know what to write. Pop Fizz has solved this problem for me and given me a creative set of prompts.
Everyday I have something new and exciting to write about whether it be my birthday, the cast of Friends or even what I like about the color pink! (I can’t wait to get to that one).
When I set these up in my planner for the month I like to add a little pizazz and I simply use parts of the other kits that Pop Fizz Paper makes. So here is what I did for June, I wanted something summer like and bright so I used the June Journal Prompts and the Sunrise Palette set. I set this up by using the deco sheet with the watercolor accents and dots to jazz up the dates from the Prompts set. After that for the first two days I used a checklist flag and one of the quotes from the deco sheet. These fit in perfectly with the prompts. For the first prompt I picked the one about my birthday. To highlight the date of my birthday I used a half box and a star icon. I am a huge birthday person and I wanted to highlight the date of my birthday prominently. After this was all said and done I took to the writing and reflected on my birthday this year.

I am currently using the pen that was given out in the June Pop Fizz Paper planner kit because it is a gorgeous gem pen that writes so smoothly. The inserts in my personal planner are just from Michael’s craft stores and my favorite part is at the bottom. Every day they ask me what I am grateful for. I try to tie this into the journal prompt from the set as well as my writing that happened for the day. Its a very simple and easy to set up creative activity that helps me to keep my creative juices flowing and a place to reflect.
