Cute DIY Camera Bookmarks

Hey everyone! It's Nawar back with a quick DIY fix for you bookworms! I don't know about you guys, but summer is the season for me to catch up on my reading list because I just can't seem to find the time any other time of the year! I wanted to share two easy ways using PopFizzPaper planner kit goodies to customize cute bookmarks to make the experience even more enjoyable!

The first one is super simple. I used a journaling card with a polaroid picture frame as my base and one of the camera papers as my overlay.

I cut out the frame and also a piece of the paper to fit within the frame. You can customize this part however you want. For example, You can use a picture of a loved one if you'd like!

After using the TomBow tape runner to stick just the top part of the paper to the journaling card, I went ahead and wrote in "SUMMER" as my caption and flipped over the paper to put in the books I've read so far!

The next method is also easy, but you'll also need an old envelope as the base of your bookmark.

The hardest part is to just draw out a heart shape using the corner of the envelope as your pointy end of the heart. This way, you will have created a little pocket.

After cutting out your heart, all you need to do now is decorate it! I used another journaling card with the tiny heart print and glued it down on both sides using the TomBow tape runner.

And, that's a wrap! These are two quick ways to make adorable little bookmarks for yourself or your friends!

Using Leftover Kit for Another Week

Hey everyone! It's Nawar back with another planner post! This time, though, I'll be showing you how I plan in my Filofax Malden, specifically my in my SewMuchCrafting inserts using stickers from a leftover kit! I'll be using the Daydreams and Icecreams kit that I used in my ECLP last week. This is a great way to make use of the extra stickers you don't end up using but don't want to throw out either.

The great thing about the PopFizzPaper kits is that you get SO many stickers that you're bound to have a ton left! Look at ALL of these icons I had left to use!

Since there was only one weekend banner in the kit, I had to be a little creative and use a washi roll, some washi strips and mini flags from the kit, and a beautiful TomBow brush pen! I think it works!

And here's the final layout:

Ice Cream and Day Dreams Erin Condren Sidebar!

Hey everyone! I am SO excited to start using my neutral Erin Condren Life Planner! Did you guys pick up anything from the launch sale? If so, let me know down below! Today I've got a super quick little post on building a sidebar in the new ECLP! The format is slightly different from previous years so here are some things I did to make my sidebar more fit for my planner needs!

To start, I used a tiny flag in this gorgeous PopFizzPaper kit to cover up the watercolor flag on the actual planner to make it better match my theme for the week. If the kit you're using doesn't include one of these flags, you can make your own out of the washi strips or full boxes! I also used one of the decorative full boxes right under "Jun." In my old ECLP, I would cover up this section entirely, but in this one, I really want the beautiful font to show!

Next up, I used these schedule stickers that come with the kit BUT i customized the blue one with some of the dot stickers to make a checklist. The reason I used this sticker with the dots layered on top is because unlike the other full box checklists in the kit, this one has seven slots, which allowed me to have a bigger checklist!

Last, but not least, I finished off with a pink habit tracker to mark my reading for the week and covered up any leftover space with washi stickers.

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick little post! The important thing to keep in mind is that you can customize any stickers to fit your planning style/needs so don't feel nervous about moving into your new ECLP! Happy Planning =)

Father's Day Shaker Card!

Hey everyone! It's Nawar here back with a cool way to make a customized shaker father's day card! To begin, you'll need a blank card like this nautical one from the PopFizzPaper July planner kit. You can also choose to make your own base with any paper of your choice! I'm also using some of the paper included in the kit for the shaker portion of the card. Additionally, you'll need some sequins, mounting tape, some acetate sheets and anything else you might want to decorate your card with!

The first thing I did is measure out how big I wanted my shaker frame to be and cut out a piece with these measurements. I chose to make the frame a rectangle but you can choose any shape you want! I also cut out mounting tape to line the back of my frame. However, do not put the mounting tape on the frame just yet! First we need to make our clear cover for the shaker component.

Now, since I didn't have acetate sheets, I used the packaging that my PopFizzPaper planner stickers come in! It worked just fine so feel free to substitute acetate sheets with with whatever clear plastic sheets you have lying around the house.

I cut out the plastic to fit the back of the frame and taped it on with some double- sided tape.

At this point, I decorated the part of the card that will be the background to the shaker frame.

I put the sequins that I want in the shaker in the center and put the mounting tape on my frame. Make sure it is completely lined with no gaps so that sequins don't fall out!

Carefully place the frame over the sequins and start shaking! Last, but least, I decorated and customized the rest of the card! I did some hand-lettering and added some stickers from Freckled Fawn, which can be found on the PopFizzPaper website.

Traveller's Notebook Journal Page

Hello, everyone!!! I am SUPER excited for today's project because I get to play around with many elements from the PopFizzPaper June Mystery Kit! I'll be using a few photos I've had laying around for way too long to journal in my traveler's notebook. BUT, it isn't your average photo collage- it's what I like to call a "peekaboo collage."

To start, you'll need a journal, diary, or even a notebook. I will be using my personal traveler's notebook from Chic Sparrow. You'll also need some gorgeous PopFizzPaper double- sided papers to get the best "peekaboo" effect! Additionally, I am using the FreckledFawn gold hearts, washi tapes, and paper clip included in the June kit to decorate my pages.

A couple of other things I am using for this project are a paper cutter, a label maker, and of course, photos of my loved ones!

The first thing I did was cut out the photos to fit in my journal and also make some fun captions to go along with them using the label maker.

Next, I chose this paper from PopFizzPaper to act as the main pattern for my collage. The double- sided feature of this paper makes it perfect for using as a fold- out piece. I cut it out to fit the personal sized traveler's notebook and made sure to cut out a little tab.

Now, it's time to add this STUNNING gold foil washi to tape down the cut- out into the journal insert. I used the tape along the edge without the tab. Then flipped it open to add washi to the other side, too.

Time to decorate the inside portion of my "peekaboo collage!" I used the three photos I had cut out along with some of the labels and washi to create this fun and simple interior.

Last, but not least, I've added these gold puffy heart stickers to close the flap and added a title to the collage.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and I think it adds a little bit of pizazz to a classic photo collage without much effort! The paper from the June kit is what really makes it gorgeous and simple! I hope you guys enjoyed this easy journaling technique and until next time, keep crafting! <3

Sunset Plan With Me

Hello, everyone! I am so thrilled to be writing this post as a PopFizzPaper creative team member! As my first blog post, I thought it would be appropriate to do a "plan with me" since that is what I love most! This week I am using the GORGEOUS new Sunrise Palette kit! When I saw this kit, my jaws dropped because a) I love watercolor patterns and b) THE COLORS! They remind me of the beautiful summer sunsets my mom and I would watch from the park when I was younger.

My favorite parts about this kit are the simple full boxes that can be customized with the accompanying inspirational sheet! Here's how my lay-out turned out before the pen:

Ain't it gorgeous? Lately, I've also been playing around with my handwriting to make it more "instagram friendly" haha.... Here's the spread with some things filled in:
