December is still the month of Bullet Journal for me, and I am loving it! I have encountered one small issue with how I bullet journal, scheduling a task. What I'm talking about is if on Monday I have "tidy lounge" but in classic Brooklynne format I put way too much in my day so it doesn't get done. Well I work all day Tuesday and Wednesday, so I need to put it in on Thursday, right? Unfortunately I have no idea where Thursday will be, so I have been using post its, which are great, cause I can just keep moving them. Downside is I have to keep moving them.

The more you move a sticky note the more it loses it's stick. Shame I don't have a dashboard like in my Large Kikki K. HEY! I could make a dashboard for my bullet Journal!

So away I went! I gathered my supplies:

• PFP Crystal Cave Papers
• PFP Crystal Cave Washi
• PFP Crystal Cave Sticky Notes
• PFP Crystal Cave December Kit leftovers
• 8.5" by 5"  piece of card
• Glue/tape runner
• Corner Rounder

Optional:

• Matte Medium OR Laminator

The first thing I did was choose which paper I wanted (this was actually easier than you think as I have 4 sets of this paper pack) I love the giant crystal cluster so knew I had to use it. Now if you have a laminator, you can be a bit slack with the gluing down things. I don't have a laminator so I'm using matte medium to really bond the papers together. 

Pro tip: use an old gift card to "squeegee" out any air bubbles and really push that clue into the pores of the paper. Be firm but gentle as you don't want to tear the paper. Then wait, OR if you you are impatient like me grab your hair blow dryer and slam that paper with hot heat!

Once dry, I trimmed down the edges of the paper and any overhang. Since I folded over the paper I knew one long side was perfect, but I was worried about the other side, so I folded some washi over it to make sure it wouldn't peel up.

If you want a tab you can cut one in where ever you want. I did one in the middle of the top. Then it was corner rounding time. My Crop - A  - Dile, is still a new tool so I use it way too much! 

You could stop here, but when have I ever left things simple? I wanted to make sections on one side for categorizing tasks to be scheduled, so I used three PFP sticky notes cut down and positioned them how I liked. I again rounded the bottom left corner of the bottom one to look less jarring.

I stuck that whole lot down with Mat Medium, if you are laminating yours you could just use a tape runner. 

Lastly I added a few stickers I had left over from the December monthly kit, so that I have three sections that read "Important", "Finances", and "To Do". All that was left was to put a spare quote sticker on the reverse side (if you are laminating it do so now) and put my page flags on it. Memo to self get blue page flags ;-) .

Hey PopFizz Fanatics, today I'm showing you a recent Project Life spread I did using the Colors of the Wind kit. I have been so slack with doing project life lately but really wanted to get this big moment recorded. So I started with pulling out all the supplies needed.

• Colors of The Wind Papers
• Washi
• Tombow tape runner
• Colors of the Wind sticky notes
• Colors of the Wind diecut feathers
• Canon Selphy Printer
• Various Ephemera 

First thing to do was print off my photos, I knew from a journal lay out I wanted the main picture to be tight crop of me so I needed to print out the photo full size and cut it down, so I printed one picture 3X4 and the other 4X6. Afte rthat I needed to choose a layout type and trim down the papers.

I went with what is probably my favorite layout, the 2 3X4 over one 4X6 spread. I was really enjoying the oranges and the contrast with the purples and greens in this kit so chose papers that played with that.

Now onto my first card. I wanted to start with that nice big orange watercolor card. I knew I wanted the front facing photo there but wasn't sure what else to do there, then I remembered these cute silver glitter instax style frames I got from Freckled Fawn, the rest kind of just flowed from there. The gold foil washi from the kit was just perfect for this. Also the feather die cuts really pulled the whole look together. 

Next was the top right card, the water colour with white feather outline. This was for my other photo and I just really kinda smashed things on it. This black and white striped washi was key to this page, helping pick up the referee motif in the pictures. These gold foil puffy hearts came in a previous PFP kit and I use them way more than I ever thought I would. I really like how this card looks. 

Now for the final card, the one for the journaling. I knew when I started out with this Project Life spread that all the cards were busy. That's why I got out the sticky notes, they made a simple and perfect journaling spot that fit so well into the cards. I then dug through my big box of alpha stickers and pulled together these two for the title. After a few touches of gold and some journaling it was done. 

Now to put them all together in the pockets of the lay out. Now you'll notice some changes to each of the cards. This always happens. I'm looking at the spread and noticing things like that the bottom card is completely devoid of green so a few puffy stickers and it feels more balanced. I found this phrase sticker for the top card which I liked and added a bit more white which I felt was needed. and finally I remembered the little feather charm which was a perfect addition to the bottom of the journal card.

Hello everybody!  It’s Jennifer again, and this week I’m going to show you how I made a cute Halloween card with PopFizzPaper stickers!

To make this card, I used: 

• Black cardstock
• Popfizzpaper DY10 - You-color-it Halloween Costume Stickers
• Popfizzpaper WK23 - Halloween Friends Kit (just the deco sheet)
• Photo
• Washi
• Silver Sharpie
• Favorite coloring pencils or markers (I used Tombow Dual-Brush Markers and a clear Zig Wink of Stella glitter pen)

Have you seen these coloring Halloween Costume stickers?  They are too cute!  They are designed to be used either by themselves, or you can dress it up with a photo of your favorite someone!  I already had some photos of my daughter printed on sticker paper, so I went through what I had to find one that looked good with the witch outfit stickers.  Once I decided on the photo, I fussy-cut my daughter’s head and part of her neck. 

Next, I worked on the background of my card.  I wanted the witch stickers to pop, so I added some glitter pumpkin washi from my stash and drew a simple cobweb and spider with a silver sharpie.  I chose my favorite quote from the Halloween Friends deco sheet. 

I found it easier to color my witch costume on the sticker sheet before I applied the sticker to the card.  I used Tombow Dual Brush Markers, but any of your favorite coloring mediums will do fine!  Now it’s time to add my little witch baby!  Here’s what I did to make sure I had the head I cut out earlier placed perfectly.  You’re going to want to layer the costume sticker just slightly over the photo sticker, but at the same time I also wanted to make sure that the costume sticker was layered over part of the washi.  What I did was take the costume sticker of the witch dress and placed the bottom half of it down where I thought it should go, but I did not press the top part of the dress to the paper.  Next, I removed the sticker paper backing on the photo and lined up the top part of the costume where I wanted it, then I finished putting down the stickers.  Then I topped it off with the witch hat!  So cuuuute!

Hey all you crafty gals, how are you all doing? Today I have a great and quick craft to add some storage to your planner. I walk you through happy planner version here but you can easily make it for your Erin Condren or binder.

Items needed:

• 1 sheet of paper (works best with double sided paper)
• Paper punch
• Tape runner
• Additional Embellishments.

If you are doing this for a happy planner then you need to fold the paper in half (short sides together) and very carefully punch the paper before folding the pockets up. 

Once you have folded the paper in half you want to  open in back up and fold up the bottom edge of paper about two inches from the bottom this will create the second and third pocket. all you have to do is fold it back in half with the "pockets" facing outward. Using Tombow's tape runner I sealed the bottom of the pock making the big fold creating a large main pocket.

Next we get to decorate! Now I wanted to use the gorgeous camera washi that came in the in the August Add - On Kit, the problem though was that it's a bit transparent so I used my patented cheapo trick! I laid down a foundation plain masking to help well mask the background from overwhelming the washi.

At the last minute I decided to punch an half a circle in the front half of the main folder pocket for a little interest. All I have left now is the final decorations for the a of visual interest and because I can't leave anything alone! 

I added a few cute phrases from the summer phrases kit that came also in the August add on. To top the look off I added a cute camera border that I zipped off on my Silhouette to tie in the camera theme and then some orange enamel dot and that's all she wrote. I hope this tutorial was useful and I'd love to see your projects. 

The amazing Pop Fizz Paper August kit came with these awesome heavy cardstock cards that could be used for so many purposes. I thought about how I would use them and many idea came to mind from personal planner dashboards, to inserts in my erin condren and finally I settled on I wanted some motivational quotes around my house. I was really excited to use the cards as well as the Tombow tape runner that came in the kit.

I purchased some 4x6 picture frames for cheap from Michael’s as the cards fit perfect into a 4x6 frame. I had to decide exactly what I wanted for my quotes. This was a long a tedious process of looking through motivational, inspirational, funny and life quotes. I eventually settled on a few and I gathered my supplies.

Here is my supply list:

• Quotes printed on basic printer paper
• Scissors
• Tombow tape runner
• journal/dashboard cards from the august pop fizz paper kit
• 2 4x6 picture frames

This was really quite simple I just cut the quotes out some with rounded edges some just straight and then I used the tombow and applied the adhesive to the back.

I think carefully set it down on the journal card where I wanted it and smoothed it down. The tape from the tombow tape runner is amazing! The adhesive is strong, smooth and can really do the job. The other thing that impressed me was if I wanted it to curve and go around a rounded edge it could do that!

I then placed the finished cards into the frames and voila! I have motivational quotes to put around my house. I am going to put one on my nightstand and one in the bathroom so I can see them everyday. You will notice I made three, I did this so I could switch one out if I wanted to or I can use it in my planner as I stated above.

Hello Everyone! Its Juanita and I have a fun little album project to share. I had never heard of a rolodex album before but pinterest has shone me the light and I wanted to give it a whirl. Now, I don’t have an old rolodex lying around and I certainly was not ready to go out and buy one ($45, no thank you!) but I was able to find a vintage recipe organizer at my local thrift store and shazaam

 rolodex album!

 So, the idea is that you treat each little rolodex page as a mini album page. You have tons of room for lots of pages and my son really likes spinning them around. Heck, I like spinning it around too!

 I want to share with you lovely people how I made this page.

 I started with three basic paper goodies from the July Planner Kit; the anchor card, the sticky notes and the decorative stickers.

 I cut the anchor card in half, grabbed some sandpaper and cut out a little island for my lighthouse and crab. See the precise placement of the lighthouse to cover up the anchor? Clever girl.

 Next, I took three sticky note pages, rounded the corners and glued down some of my favorite pictures of my son and I at the beach in Hawaii. I then grabbed some more sticky notes, cut out the anchors and repositioned them on top of the pictures for a little layering action.  Ooh-la-la

 I noticed the sticky notes were a little too thin for the photos so I mounted them on some white cardstock. Then I attached the photos pages on the album page with washi tape. I stacked them on top of each other to make a mini flip album. Wait! an album within an album…its like albumception!

And that’s it!

 I did want to quickly show how you can really do anything with the pages.

 Here I made an album shaker page with some memory cards.

 Here I made an album page that is a push pull card with my ten favorite things about our trip to Hawaii.

 This is a super fun way to get some memory keeping done and it’s a fun to display!
