Easy DIY Traveler's Notebook Dashboard
Hey everyone! So pocket sized traveler's notebooks are all the rage right now and I want to show you how to jazz them up with custom dashboards you can make at home! The star of this show is pretty double- sided paper of your choice!
Additional things you need are a laminator, scissors and corner punch (optional).
The first step is to cut out two pieces from the paper that are 3.5 by 5.5 inches. I rounded the corners but you definitely don't have to! After you're happy with the papers, set them in the laminator sheets a little less than 1/2 an inch apart from each other like so:
Once you run it through the laminator, I quickly fold it halfway through while the lamination is still warm so that the plastic folds easily.
After cutting around the edges, you have your dashboard! Now, time to personalize this guy! I used these matching sticky notes from the PopFizzPaper planner kit!
I stuck the sticky notes on the first side and used a target dollar spot clear pocket for the other side to store some washi.
And there you have it! Here's the front of the dashboard- I love how simple, functional, and gorgeous it is all at the same time!
I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post on making dashboards for your traveler's notebooks! What inserts are you guys stuffing in your journals?
