Watercolor Floral Plan With Me
Being relatively new to the planner world I have been trying to figure out what type of planner I am. There are many groups of planners the vertical girls (raise your hands), the horizontal girls (where are you?), the hourly planners (your turn!) but of course there are the non Erin Condren planners (all of you raise your hands). In addition to that we have a whole different group the white space planners and the non white space planners. When you are first learning to decorate your planner it takes some time to figure out what you like. This took me almost 2 months and even today I am still working on it.
I have discovered that I am more of a white space planner because I like checklist flags more than I like ombre heart boxes. I also really love half boxes or large label stickers. I tend to really like functional stickers and the great thing about Pop Fizz Paper’s planner kits is that there are plenty of functional stickers to do a perfect white space spread.
The new add on kit that you can purchase when you buy the Planner Kit or the Gimme Stickers Kit is great for those that want to non white space plan. I encourage everyone to get it though because for us white space planners it gives you more options and while you won’t use all of it it really jazzes up your white space spread.
The primary stickers I used from the kit are the Checklist Flags both full box and half box, Labels both skinny and large, Round Labels, Headers and a few full box checklists. I accented the design with some decorative as well as washi at the bottom of the spread.
One of the questions many of you may have is how did you do this with only enough headers for one checklist? Well this is simple many times planners (including myself) make too many lists of to dos that are just simply unrealistic. To not make this mistake I allowed myself one checklist per day. The three days I added in a second checklist using the full box checklist heart boxes was due to the fact that I blog and podcast and have specific things only on those days that need to get done. I always make sure to put in a spot for TV shows because as busy as I am I have to remind myself to have some fun every day. As for the weekend I went a little more decorative because I was trying to give myself some time off of being stressed. So to do this I gave myself minimal space to write in to do lists.
I did a few things different with this spread than I have done in my other ones. I decorated MDNs with washi tape. I wanted to tie in the colors of the spread by using coordinating washi. I also used hydrate stickers which I usually don’t use. I have noticed however that perhaps I need them to hold myself more accountable for my fitness goals. I also used the circle labels which are not included in all sticker kits (from other shops) but this is a feature I LOVE about Pop Fizz Paper. The circle labels make white space planning so much easier and they are designed beautifully. The side bar design I have done before but I love it even more with the half box checklists because it minimizes the weekly goals and forces me to pick just a few! My goal is to not over plan myself. In other words don’t over extend yourself Teresa!

I hope you amazing ladies got some ideas on how to do your white space planner spread or even just a planner spread using Pop Fizz Paper
