When I first started as part of the Pop Fizz Paper creative team I had to choose the type of planner I would get my stickers for. I currently use an Erin Condren Vertical Life Planner so all of my stickers are in that style.
When I got my Erin Condren Teacher Planner to use for this school year I wanted to figure out how to use stickers in the planner. I sat down with my leftovers from my pop fizz Midnight Galaxy kit. To explain how I used my stickers I need to explain how I teach. I work in a high school where we have 8 periods. We only have 4 periods on mondays and wednesdays and 4 periods on tuesday and thursday. I teach 3 class periods on each day so that Is all I need to plan for.
The stickers that fit the best in the planner were the checklist flags, labels, flag labels and icons. The full box checklists were a little long and narrow but they were used when I only needed to mark on box. I turned the full boxes on their side and positioned them in the the middle to take up blank space. I luckily had a day this coming week where I could decorate using quotes and deco stickers.
The great thing about using leftovers was that I just used what I absolutely needed. This was by no means a no white space spread and I am not sure you could accomplish that because these planners are so big. The best part about using the stickers though was that it made me want to work in my planner more and note more things. Even the minimal spread that I did really motivated me more as a teacher.
I used the checklist flags for my teaching days to list out my agenda for the day. I used full box checklists for the things I needed to get done during my conference periods and then I used appointment flags and half boxes for big items and meetings. Over all I absolutely love using the leftovers from the kit for my teacher planner and I can see myself doing it more often.
What else do you use your stickers for?

Hello everyone I have a fun little project here for you of how I decorate the month overview page in my Happy Planner. I feel like with the Happy Planner I have finally found planner peace, and it's disc bound. I love how easy it is to add things to it and how quick it is to expand the ring size (for a crazy period I had Dec 2015 - Dec 2017 in one planner)! But my favourite thing is the month overview pages, where I can record birthdays, important dates and a snapshot of what is happening in my life overall!
The only thing is I find them a bit boring at times and not always the look I want. Especially in September as it is my Birthday Month! Also it's a bit Pink for me, so I pulled out my Tombow water soluble crayons and painted over the currently section in blues and greens to match the gemstone papers I'm going to use.
After that was done I ran some of the glitter washi from the add on kit along the left side edge for some pzazz. Not the washi was a bit wider than I wanted so I just trimmed it roughly down the middle with my paper trimmer. The top calendar section I find redundant and the dark blue was a bit much so I covered it up with a strip of the large white gem outline paper which I just loooooooove!
One thing I knew was that the sticky notes from the September kit would look GORGEOUS in place of the standard birthday box and Important dates lines. The sticky notes were about half an inch too wide so I carefully trimmed off a quarter of an inch from both sides and the required amount from the bottom each of which were different. Using my favourite Tombow mono permanent tape runner I secured both stickey notes in place.
Next to tidy it up some I used the other piece of glitter washi to separate the two halves and ground those sticky notes. Doesn't it just sparkle so heavenly! Finally my absolute favourite gem washi along the bottom to hide the American holidays that don't apply to me. I love how simple and stunning this washi is.
Now I just need a few final touches to finish the look off, like holographic stickers. Creative Team member Jennifer got me the Me And My Big Ideas, Holographic sticker sheet for my birthday and I love it so two quote stickers were the first things to go down and then from there I use these tiny Holographic stars in the top left corner of each section .
It didn't really feel finished and then I remembered the glitter enamel stars from April kit! Something was bothering me about the top left of the page and in general the left side of the banner. It needed something. Out cam my 2 inch circle punch and the blue on blue gem pattern paper, ct that sucker in half an BAM on she went. I'm not sure why that was needed but it was.
All I need to do now is fill it out! I was easily able to do the birthdays and important dates. When it cam to the Currently section, there were a few things I knew I could put down easily but the rest will have to be filled out as the month happens. If you are a Happy Planner do you decorate these pages? If so I would love to see how feel free to tag me @brooklynne_michelle or @popfizzpaper !

Hi everyone! Sabrina here to show you some easy and fun DIY back to school items for all ages. I’m going to be showing you 3 different ideas; how to take a plain notebook cover and turn it into a super cute one, how to make washi pencils and even a cute pocket that you can place inside of your notebook or keep it on the side.
Let’s make back to school and homework time at home fun! This is even a great creative outlook for kids and a fun project for you and your child to work on together. This idea is especially great for homework time because what kid wouldn’t be inspired to do their homework using cute pencils and cute notebooks that they created themselves. If you aren’t in school or have no children [in school] don’t stop reading yet because these ideas are great to use for work or for an everyday task or just for organization. So let’s jump right into this and start with the notebook!
Supplies you will need:
1- Notebook
Design Paper of your choice
1- 5x7 cardboard or thick cardstock
Pencils
Washi tape
Glue, mod podge, or adhesive tape
Scissors
*Removing the coil is optional- I removed it because at the time of the photo I wasn’t sure if I wanted to cover the coil holes with washi or paper and re-punch but keep reading to find out what I ended up doing.
First, choose your design paper for your cover once you’ve gotten that glue or add adhesive tape [like I did] and lay the cover down front side first onto your design paper. If your paper is double sided like mine make sure the side with the design that you DON’T want is the side, you are gluing down onto the front side of your cover. Cut off all the excess paper off the edges and your cover is ready to be decorated!
I just took two different shades of blue glitter washi tapes and vertically put that on the left side of the notebook cover. Then I took the other gem washi that came in the Planner Kit and put that vertically on the right side of the notebook. In the middle of the notebook I added a plastic adhesive pocket that I got from the Target Dollar Section and added one sheet of sticky note inside. If you don't have any of these pockets you can create your own by cutting a piece of design paper into any shape and adding a thin line of glue to the sides and bottom and stick it onto the cover. Decorate with some stickers; I used this quote sticker and beautiful gems from the PopFizzPaper Crystal Cove Kit. Once you are done decorating you are all done with your notebook cover!
Some of you are probably wondering “Is she going to recoil her notebook?” and the answer is “No, I am not.” I plan to use this notebook to keep inside of my bag and I don’t want the coils messing up my bag or getting caught with other coiled items in side of my purse so I am going to journal bound it with a textured string. All I did was lined up all the papers inside the front and back cover so that you can see through the holes and then start from the bottom to the top by doing an over and under technique and gluing the ends to the back of the notebook; you can even tie off at the bottom or top if you wished. Bye-bye coil you now have a journal!
Next let’s make a quick pocket that you can glue or tape inside your notebook or just keep it on the side. I am using the thick cardstock that comes in the planner kit you know the one that tells you everything that is in your kit. I am taking a piece of design paper measuring it to be the same size as the card stock and cutting it in half. Take one of those halves and glue it to the back of the cardstock covering all the wording. Grab that other half of design paper and this is where you’re going to create a pocket look; I cut my paper in an angle where I cut up diagonally to the top left corner to give that peeking affect to show the paper behind the one I am gluing on top. Once your shape is created line the back of the paper on both sides with a thin layer of glue and stay close to the edges; do the same to the bottom. Flip the side with the glue over and press it onto the cardstock. Start decorating! I added glitter washi to the bottom horizontally, and to the left side vertically. Grabbed another plastic adhesive pocket and put that onto the middle of the bottom, inserted a piece of designed sticky note and added a larger gem sticker to put onto the top of that adhesive pocket. If you want this pocket inside of your notebook all you do it glue the back of the pocket to the inside or if you want it removable just tape it down with some washi tape. And you're done!
I saved the easiest for last… washi pencils! Choose your washi tape, measure the length of from below the metal down to the where the wood grain starts. Then just lay the washi on the pencil and wrap around that’s it!
I hope you all loved these DIY back to school ideas. If you decide to create any of these we want to see them so make sure you tag @PopFizzPaper on IG and you come post to the PopFizzPaper Fans! Facebook Group!

If you have not gotten caught up in the Pokemon Go fad then you are super lucky. If you have gotten caught up in it then you are just like me. Perhaps you are reliving your childhood doing something you wished you could do years and years ago. Today with the age of smartphones we can all finally be Pokemon Trainers!
For those of us that like to track all the things we do I decided to make a Pokemon Go! Record keeper. It allows me to note the bigger pokemon I catch on a day. I can track my steps and of course what I ate and drank (because this is important)!
To do this I utilized leftover stickers from previous pop fizz paper kits. For this particular week I chose my leftovers from my Team USA kit and the new Pokemon Go! Stickers. First I wanted to make sure I noted where I went so I just used a appointment flag. Then I wanted to track steps and nutrition. For this I just used the icons and put them under the flag. The most important part was keeping track of the Pokemon I caught on the trip. In order to do this I used the half box heart checklists.
I also wanted to make sure that I wrote on the stickers with a pen that would be bold and visible. For this kind of thing I like to use a black PaperMate Flair. I also wanted to track where I plan to go each day of the week. I like to go pokemon hunting for a little trip each day and make sure I work this into my daily plans. This Pokemon Go tracker is really helping me keep track especially since my nephew likes to check in and see what new Pokemon I have every day!
How do you track the pokemon you catch? What team are you on? Let us know by joining the PopFizzPaper Fans facebook group.
I still need a Pikachu!

Lately I have started to have a bit more of a busy day than usual with a few new courses, and my Roller Derby training kicking into higher gear. My life is a madhouse and unfortunately some important things are starting to slip my mind. So on top of my weekly Planning I have thought about starting to use daily pages ie. a Day Designer. Luckily for me before I lay out any major money on a Day Designer they have pages that I can download easily for free.
So armed with those I've been keeping more on track of my to do's and working in all the important things for the day. Now I am one of those planners who have to decorate their planner in order to even look at it. So I've been thinking about how I can decorate the Day Designer pages with what I have. Then it struck me, I could use the left over weekly kits I have (which are many) to decorate daily pages.
My first step is Laying down all the washi strips including framing washi along the top and bottom. The left over washi strip I have left over from doing my sidebar in my Happy Planner fit perfectly in the Daily Gratitude space. If they are easy to write over I like filling the top four boxes with Washi too. This covers up the printed headers but that's fine I plan on covering them up anyway. Now on to the Headers and Stickers.
I replace the most of the headers with headers from the kit, especially the "today" and "to do" sections. I also like to add a "to clean" header sectioning off the last four line (three check boxes) where I can add what is on my cleaning schedule this week. Next I like to use icon stickers anywhere that I have something significant, like when my alarm goes off, when training starts, and what I plan on watching to unwind in the evening (I'm working my way through the Gilmore Girls in order to be prepared for the reunion show). I don't really need the notes section so I use a check list and film icon.
Last thing to do is fill in all the info on what I'm hoping to achieve and what I have scheduled. I put a dot at the end of a task that has been carried over from the day before and two dots if it was the day before that. Almost always two dot items get moved to the Top Three section. I decided to use the former notes section to tick off the course subjects I wanted to complete "today". All I have to do now is start ticking off things that need to be done.
I'm enjoying the Daily page, I just wish that it had a night owl version ;-) Do any of you use Daily pages How do you decorate them?

Hey everyone, Sabrina here! Here to show you a quick, easy and fun way to create your own framed calendar. I don’t know about you all but during the fall my bod definitely is in a hibernation mode; hiding that food I’ve been storing from holidays or special events all the way until middle of next spring.
As a personal goal for myself I decided to start eating healthy and working out again. Because if I let myself I could eat pizza every day which is not good. So what better way than to start at the beginning of fall instead of waiting until a month or two before summer. Yes, I am one of those people who do that because I love all the delicious foods that come with the fall season. But not this time this calendar is going to help me focus!
I am going to show you how to create a calendar for… you guessed it; a workout schedule! Enough babbling let’s jump right into this…
So here are some supplies you will need:
First off, put aside your picture frame and dry easers all you need to begin is your blank calendar and some stickers. You can create your own calendar in word or excel or you can print one off the internet. In my printable collection I had a blank Day Designer calendar that I printed months ago so I’m just going to use that. I grabbed my PopFizzPaper sticker collection and pulled out some days of the week stickers, a month of the year sticker, lots of icons and some summer vibes quotes.
Start by sticking down your days of the week. Next is optional but it’s to grab some washi and decorate around the calendar. I ended up putting down my “August” month of the year sticker first before my washi and guess what… when I peeled it off I wasn’t careful so I ripped it a little. No worries though; no need to waste the sticker just grab a tape runner, put some tape on the back and you’re good to continue! If you make a mistake with a sticker gently and patiently peel it up don’t be like me and just rip it off like Band-Aid. Once you’ve gotten your washi down, either write at the top the month or use a sticker like me. Next is grab those workout icons and start pre planning your week [or entire month.]
For fun, I made each week a different color. I always end up having left over icons from my weekly kits so those are the icons that I am using in case you’re wondering why the sizing of some icons are smaller than others. Since my calendar boxes are small I could only fit one icon inside; I originally want to do two icons one related to work out and another for meals but I figured that would just be too cluttered. I actually like having this calendar just for my exercises that I plan to do for the week. I used 3 different icons:
The shoe is for the type of exercise I plan to do that day
The dumbbell is for cardio/ gym [if I decided to go to a gym]
The scale is for weigh in to check how I am doing; which is a personal preference
Now that I have placed all my icons on the week days that I plan to work out I went ahead and just added a few motivational and fun quotes. Along with a couple of emoji stickers and since it’s Olympics month I’ve add a couple of Olympic symbols for extra motivation. I will be out of town one weekend this month so that little road sticker reminds me that even though I will be out of town to get that work out in and more in likely I will set a reminder alarm to get my workout in. When all your stickers are set in the perfect place you want them to be, grab a pen and write in the number of the day or feel free to use a sticker if you have the space. Once the decoration process is complete its time to place it into the picture frame.
You may have to cut down the sides if need be but make sure when you place it into the frame it’s exactly how you want it be because remember you’re going to be writing on the glass of the frame itself so line it up good and give yourself enough writing space on the sides. Now that your calendar is in the frame you’re ready to grab your dry easer marker and start filling in your week [or month.] Since I like to switch it up with different exercises I ended up categorizing what I plan to do for that specific day. Example: Mondays are leg days, Tuesdays are arm days, Wednesday is abs, Friday is cardio, etc. I also like to have at least one or two rest days a week depending on how hard I work myself. But you do you! Because you are writing on the glass you can remove, add or switch any of your work outs. Awesome, right? Well, that’s it! Go ahead and place it up on the wall behind your desk or stand it up on your desk.
I hope you enjoyed this cute idea feel free to use this for anything else like a meal plan calendar, work schedule, school schedule or for events; this idea works for all. If you create a cute picture framed calendar we want to see it so make sure you tag @PopFizzPaper on Instagram and join/ share on the PopFizzPaper Fans Facebook group!

Hey all you crafty gals, how are you all doing? Today I have a great and quick craft to add some storage to your planner. I walk you through happy planner version here but you can easily make it for your Erin Condren or binder.
Items needed:
If you are doing this for a happy planner then you need to fold the paper in half (short sides together) and very carefully punch the paper before folding the pockets up.
Once you have folded the paper in half you want to open in back up and fold up the bottom edge of paper about two inches from the bottom this will create the second and third pocket. all you have to do is fold it back in half with the "pockets" facing outward. Using Tombow's tape runner I sealed the bottom of the pock making the big fold creating a large main pocket.
Next we get to decorate! Now I wanted to use the gorgeous camera washi that came in the in the August Add - On Kit, the problem though was that it's a bit transparent so I used my patented cheapo trick! I laid down a foundation plain masking to help well mask the background from overwhelming the washi.
At the last minute I decided to punch an half a circle in the front half of the main folder pocket for a little interest. All I have left now is the final decorations for the a of visual interest and because I can't leave anything alone!
I added a few cute phrases from the summer phrases kit that came also in the August add on. To top the look off I added a cute camera border that I zipped off on my Silhouette to tie in the camera theme and then some orange enamel dot and that's all she wrote. I hope this tutorial was useful and I'd love to see your projects.

Hello Hello Everyone!
It’s Juanita! For today’s post I wanted to share with you how I organize my planner stickers. I like to plan out when I am going to use certain weekly kits. So, to organize my weekly kits, I use my unused Happy Planner.
I made some pocket pages out of some decorative folders and the Happy Planner punch.
I then used the monthly tabs from the Happy Planner and start filing away when I want to use my weekly kits.
I have a pocket for each week in the month and I put each kit in the week I want to use it. Currently I am planned out till October!
I really like this system because it ensures that all stickers I want to use for that week can be found in one place. Now, I don’t have to worry that I won’t be able to find my Olympic tv trackers because they are bunking with my Brazil kit.
For my smaller, functional stickers I like to use this coupon organizer I found at an office supply store.
I like to organize my smaller stickers by function. Some of my categories include: icons, appointment boxes, decorative stickers, functional decorative stickers (like clean makeup brush reminders) and check boxes/lists.
I really like using this system for my smaller stickers because its very transportable and it doesn’t take up too much space.
This system is great for expanding and growing sticker collections but its also great for when your sticker collection is smaller. It really grows and shrinks with your collection. I really like it! I hope you guys found this helpful!
Happy Crafting!

Hey all, Sabrina here! This week I will be sharing with you how to create a laminated checklist dashboard. Don’t worry if you don’t have a laminator there is no need to go out and buy one because I’ve got an easy solution for you.
Supplies needed are:
1- Scotch Self-Seal Laminating Pouches [any other brand works too]
1- Piece of Design Paper
Checklist Stickers
Decorative Stickers
Hole Punch
Dry eraser marker
Let’s start by taking our design paper and cutting it a size that will fit into the planner you are using- this sheet is from the PopFizzPaper May Planner Kit in the floral watercolor design. I will be creating this dashboard to fit inside The Happy Planner and since my handwriting is on the larger size my dashboard is going to be about 8 in x 10 in almost the same size as a Happy Planner cover. I know it’s not exactly a dashboard size but the sizing is up to you; a good suggested size could be 6 in x 7 in.
Once the cutting is complete and you’ve got your perfect size next is the fun part- decorating! Time to get creative and personal here by placing down the stickers where you would like them to go. My dashboard will be used as daily to-do list divided into 3 categories of what I would typically do during my day; “to go”, “to do”, and “to clean”. What’s great about this laminated dashboard is that it’s reusable meaning you can create a quick list in the morning of what needs to be done for the day and if you change your mind about something all you have to do it wipe it off the list. It’s not a permanent task for the day so you can do that task tomorrow or even another day of the week.
I love the “I am too busy” sticker from the Fries before Guys Quote collection that was in the June PFP Faves Planner Kit. It makes for the perfect title for my dashboard which is centered at the top of my page and I’ve also added a couple hearts and butterflies next to the wording just to add a little more cuteness. Next I’ve taken a rainbow appointment label and added an icon to the left corner and lined those below the quote sticker spaced about 1.5 in apart from each other. Take your checklists and place them vertically below your appointment labels. It’s up to you how many checklists you want to use and how many categories you’d like to have. You can stop here if you’d like but I’ve went ahead and personalized it a little more. Below those checklists I’ve horizontally placed a habit sticker with an icon sticker, a pill/vitamin sticker, an appointment label with an icon sticker, and a few TV stickers below those. I plan to use the habit sticker for my weekly work outs and the appointment label for my dogs whether it's a reminder to groom, bathe, or to take them to the dog park.
If your dashboard is smaller than 8 in x 10 in then cut the laminated pouch to the correct size before putting the design paper inside. Once you’ve places all your stickers onto your design paper and have cut the pouch to size go ahead and just slip that design sheet right into the self-sealing laminating pouch and seal. Be careful with these laminating sheets you want to carefully seal the pouch without any bubbles so make sure you seal slowly. These Scotch laminated pouches come with instructions on how to use these so read that before beginning. Trim off any excess laminating paper and that’s it- it’s that simple! Feel free to double laminate your dashboard by slipping it into another pouch and repeating this same process if you want a thicker insert.
Lastly, grab your hole punch! If you don’t own a Happy Planner Paper Punch, it’s okay just remove your cover from your planner and place it over the laminating pouch using that as your guide. Use your dry eraser pen and mark your holes, punch a single hole on your marks, and then make slits wide enough depending on the type of rings your planner has.
Fill in your dashboard and put it right into your planner! This is really easy and it doesn’t take too long to create. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial- if you create a checklist dashboard we’d love to see it so make sure you tag @popfizzpaper and myself in the picture on Instagram!
