Flipbook in a tin

I also used some of the quote stickers for embellishments.

I really enjoyed how this project turned out. If you would like to see a video process of this project, please check out the video below!

Lastly I inked the side of my quote and added some of the star stickers for embellishment. I punched a hole in the top, attached from string and added it to my gift!

If you’re like me and like to use every piece from the PFP planner kit, I have a project for you. I am going to show you how to repurpose your information card into an adorable donut (or even Valentine’s Day) greeting card. If you don’t have the information card, or already used it, the regular paper from the kit works just fine too.
Let’s get started with our supply list. You will need:
— 1 cardstock piece measuring at 8 x 6 (folded in half to 4 x 6)
— your information card (I cut mine down to 3.5 x 5.5 with a 2.5 x 3 window cut out. I used my silhouette but I kept it a rectangle so that it could be easily done with an xacto knife or scissors
— a piece of acetate or even a plastic sleeve cut into a 3 x 3.5 square
— confetti, sequins, sprinkles, seed beads, whatever you want to put into your shaker
— some foam tape or squares
— washi, ink and sticker decorations optional
The first thing I did was glue my acetate to my window piece. I used the tombow mono liquid aqua glue because it made it easier to be able to move it around before it dried (side note, it would have been easier to ink the card before I did this part but forgot because I was too excited for sprinkles).
Because I like to ink the sides of things to give them more dimension, I inked the outside of the card as well as the inside of the frame with a purple ink (this was included with the October PFP planner kit). It didn’t dry very fast so it did get ink everywhere but it just gave it more character.
To make sure that the little shaker bits actually shake, you have to add dimension to the card. For that, I used the tombow foam tape. You can also use foam squares. For the outside of the window, I cut the tape in half to make it thinner and then put thicker strips at the bottom. Make sure that the square part is really tight though so that whatever you’re shaking in there doesn’t fall out.
I gathered everything I wanted to put into the shaker part into one area of the actual card. I included the sequins from the rosie_plans extra in the February kit, sequins from my personal stash and even real sprinkles. Once I have collected those, I put the top piece over it, just to make sure they will fit. Then turn it around and press firmly to secure the shakers in the window.
I decorated the front by layering some glitter washi (all from the popfizzpaper store), donut stickers, a “the sweet life” sticker and some rhinestones to add some bling.
Add a little note inside, stick it in an envelope and send it (or hand it) to your favorite person!

Everyone talks about October/December/Whatever month daily but I wanted something more long term. I am doing a weekly challenge, for 52 weeks, crafting and “scrapbooking” our lives. Journalling what we have been doing and documenting along the way.
Here is my first page using the January PopFizzPaper Planner Kit along with some items from monthly kits in 2015.
The color scheme of this kit is very bold (hence the name be bold) and fitting for New Year’s and goal getting. I chose to pair it with another bright blue cardstock so that the colors stuck out even more.
The first step was making the pocket. If you know anything about me, I love the look of ripped paper. I do this a lot in my pocket letters and wanted to include it here as well. I ripped the top of the paper and ran the chalk ink from the January kit around the sides to make that stand out a little bit more.
Next I added some images that I printed out from our week. This includes a picture of my dog, a show we binge watched and some images from a trip we made down to the strip. I also included a “can’t stop won’t stop” quote strip from the January kit. Because who wants to stop?
I then stamped out the dates using the Heidi Swapp date stamper and chalk ink included with the January kit. I just did this onto regular glossy paper.
I attached that to the back side of the information card included with the January kit as well as some glittery alphas from Michaels. I also decorated a little bit with the washi from the January kit as well as some gold glitter washi from the September kit. I also put down a camera die cut from the January kit.
For the “journaling” part of this, I will be using some tags. A light “library” card type one and a darker brown one from the January kit. I attached a tab to the top and covered them with washi from the January kit to make the tag a bit sturdier and slid them into their little pocket.
Since the back of the information card had information for the January kit on it, I wanted to cover that up. I used the blue cardstock to cover up the words and then affixed one of the journaling cards from the January kit to it making a pocket. I rubbed on some of the inspirational quotes included in the January kit and made a tag to write down some of my 2016 goals and resolutions.
Last but not least, I punched it and put it in my project life album.
The January kit offers such a great inspiration of products used to kick start your 2016.
