Have you ever gone to the store to pick up some gift wrap and nothing jumps out at you? Why not use your crafty supply to make your own. I used many elements from the March popfizzpaper kit to make a cute embellishment to put onto a cheap gift bag, including the tissue paper!
The first thing I did was make a flower with some tissue paper. I googled this part so nothing proprietary here but I just cut a bunch of squares, folded them accordion style, rounded the edges, wrapped it in twine (though I would suggest using a very thin thread) and then flattened it sideways to make a flower.
I cut a little bit of black tulle to add some more texture as well as some sequins from the kit. I "sewed" those into the flower and also glued them down so that they stay put.
Using the information card, I softly traced a line around the flower. I wanted to add something to the back that was larger so that it would stand out a little bit more. I also ripped the edges and inked them.

Next I laminated some of the leaf sticky notes to use as the leaf of my flower and hot glued them together.
To add a little bit more to the bag, I layered a bunch of washi including the succulent washi from the kit and a gold glitter washi available in the shop.

Lastly I glued the flower onto the bag, added the gift to it and voila!
