DIY Dashboard for you Bullet Journal
December is still the month of Bullet Journal for me, and I am loving it! I have encountered one small issue with how I bullet journal, scheduling a task. What I'm talking about is if on Monday I have "tidy lounge" but in classic Brooklynne format I put way too much in my day so it doesn't get done. Well I work all day Tuesday and Wednesday, so I need to put it in on Thursday, right? Unfortunately I have no idea where Thursday will be, so I have been using post its, which are great, cause I can just keep moving them. Downside is I have to keep moving them.
The more you move a sticky note the more it loses it's stick. Shame I don't have a dashboard like in my Large Kikki K. HEY! I could make a dashboard for my bullet Journal!
So away I went! I gathered my supplies:
- PFP Crystal Cave Papers
- PFP Crystal Cave Washi
- PFP Crystal Cave Sticky Notes
- PFP Crystal Cave December Kit leftovers
- 8.5" by 5" piece of card
- Glue/tape runner
- Corner Rounder
Optional:
- Matte Medium OR Laminator
The first thing I did was choose which paper I wanted (this was actually easier than you think as I have 4 sets of this paper pack) I love the giant crystal cluster so knew I had to use it. Now if you have a laminator, you can be a bit slack with the gluing down things. I don't have a laminator so I'm using matte medium to really bond the papers together.
Pro tip: use an old gift card to "squeegee" out any air bubbles and really push that clue into the pores of the paper. Be firm but gentle as you don't want to tear the paper. Then wait, OR if you you are impatient like me grab your hair blow dryer and slam that paper with hot heat!
Once dry, I trimmed down the edges of the paper and any overhang. Since I folded over the paper I knew one long side was perfect, but I was worried about the other side, so I folded some washi over it to make sure it wouldn't peel up.
If you want a tab you can cut one in where ever you want. I did one in the middle of the top. Then it was corner rounding time. My Crop - A - Dile, is still a new tool so I use it way too much!
You could stop here, but when have I ever left things simple? I wanted to make sections on one side for categorizing tasks to be scheduled, so I used three PFP sticky notes cut down and positioned them how I liked. I again rounded the bottom left corner of the bottom one to look less jarring.
I stuck that whole lot down with Mat Medium, if you are laminating yours you could just use a tape runner.
Lastly I added a few stickers I had left over from the December monthly kit, so that I have three sections that read "Important", "Finances", and "To Do". All that was left was to put a spare quote sticker on the reverse side (if you are laminating it do so now) and put my page flags on it. Memo to self get blue page flags ;-) .
I think I might have to make another using the Colors of the Wind Papers! I hope you enjoyed this and please share if you made your own. I'd love to see the dashboards you made with this tutorial, tag me @brooklynne_michelle or @popfizzpaper or share over at out Facebook group PopFizzPaper Fans.
Gift Tags Two Ways
Hello everyone! It’s Jennifer here, and today I’d like to share two cute holiday gift tags I made with Popfizzpaper stickers and digital papers! These are quick and easy tags you can make in minutes and they’ll make your gifts look extra special.
For the sticker tags, I used silver glitter half boxes and added an elf on the shelf sticker. Doesn’t glitter make everything better? Popfizzpaper now has silver and gold half box stickers in two different styles: with and without flags. I’m using the boxes without the flags for this project. I love using these as gift labels because the glitter makes them really festive, but they’re not so girly that you couldn’t use them on a boy’s present too!
For the paper tags, I used one of the Merry Harry digital papers. I made the tags double sided, so for the back I simply printed the paper straight on the reverse side of my card stock. I cut out the tag shapes in Silhouette Studio and it was super easy!
If you don’t have a Silhouette or similar cutting tool, you can easily get this same look by printing the Merry Harry paper on both sides of a piece of cardstock and use a punch from the local craft store to make tags or trace a tag you already have. Add a square of complementary solid card stock for your text area, and voila!
To finish the tags, I simply threaded some green and white baker’s twine through the hole, and they’re ready to make your gifts sparkle!
How do you like to turn your gift-wrapping game up a notch? I’d love to see! Tag me on Instagram @paprikaplans or share your ideas in our Popfizzpaper Fans Facebook group! Happy Planning!
Planning in a Mini Happy Planner with Left Over Stickers
Today's blog I am going to be showing you all a "mini" plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner using LEFT OVER stickers ONLY!
I love buying kits but it depends on the design for me because I always end up with left overs. PopFizzPaper's Nordic Winter Kit is one of those kits that I absolutely LOVE and I ended up doing a no-white space spread in my Erin Condren middle of November and I told myself with this kit I am going to use this kit again by using the left overs sheets! So that's what I am going to do...
All you need is your planner, leftover sheets from any kit [again I'm using PopFizzPaper's Nordic Winter], and a pen.
Since this mini happy planner is undated I am going to be using date covers and numbers from my monthly Nordic Winter kit to date my week. I also added my payday and day off flags to the week. This quote is one of my favorites "It's not much but it's home" and it's so fitting for this week because this weekend we will be traveling back to my hometown for a birthday party and to celebrate Christmas early with my family there.
Next I just went ahead and put down stickers throughout the week for what I already know is happening for that particular day. Little checklists, half boxes, headers, flags, icons and a few deco stickers.
As you can see I still have a lot of stickers left to use for another spread or combine these with other left overs from other kits. And, I did not grab any other stickers from my collection I just used the left over sheets from this kit. Lastly, I'm just going to grab my pen(s) that I want to use and I'm using my two favorites; Papermate Flair in black for my main pen and the Pilot Precise V5 RT to write smaller on the appointment labels and flags.
That's it! I really liked the way this came out and I'm so proud of myself for using these left overs sheets. Try it out! Grab those already used PopFizzPaper kits and do a spread using ONLY stickers from that kit. If you do make sure to tag @PopFizzPaper on Instagram and come share with us PFP fans on the PopFizzPaper Fans! Facebook group!

PopFizz Paper VIDMAS 2016
Every day from now until Christmas, I'll be posting a new video on my Youtube channel! There will be planner and crafty hauls, plan with me spreads, vlogs, happy mail, project shares, maybe even some December Daily stuff.. and MORE!
Weekly kit in my Bullet Journal.
Hey there PopFizzPaper Fanatics! If you follow me over at Instagram or on my Youtube Channel you'll know that in December I'm trialing the Bullet Journal system. It was going lovely then I received my Merry Harry kit in the mail. What was I to do I loved this kit, and I needed to use it! I toyed with just doing a weekly in my Happy Planner but that's likely to get ignored, then it hit me like a ton of very obvious bricks! Use the stickers to create a Bullet Journal weekly spread!
So I gathered my supplies up and got down to work! So instead of taking a thousand photos of the Process of drawing out my spread I have a Video linked Below so Check that out.
First though here's a close up of the spread pre-pen! I really love this lay out even though I learned to measure better next time. That Always sticker made me choke up, I miss you Snape :-( .
And here's the final situation all ready for my week. The Video Below shows the Process from blank page to this point right here!
Did you get the Merry Harry Kit or you Bullet Journal? Tag me @brooklynne_michelle or @popfizzpaper I'd love to see it!
Holiday Bucket List
Hello everyone! It’s Jennifer here, and today I’d like to share how I used Popfizzpaper stickers in my notes pages of my Erin Condren Life Planner to help me get organized for the Holidays! Have you seen the 2016 Winter Bucket List Charity sticker sheets?! They are so adorable and 100% of sales go directly to Toys for Tots! When I saw these stickers, I knew the larger ones would be perfect for organizing and memory keeping this holiday season!
In addition to the regular sized bucket list sheet, I also used gold glitter half boxes and wood grain half box checklists from the Nordic Winter kit. I wanted this notes page to be something that could keep me organized through the holidays and be something I could look back at for memory keeping! The two types of half boxes were perfect for this! I used the checklist half boxes for holiday To Dos, and the glitter half boxes for memory keeping.
Once I had the half boxes down on the page, I labeled them with the bucket list stickers! So cute and festive! I filled in the checklists with my things to do for the holidays, and I’ll fill in the glitter boxes with our favorite holiday memories!
How are you using the Winter Bucket List Charity sticker sheets in your planner? I’d love to see! Tag me on Instagram @paprikaplans or share your ideas in our Popfizzpaper Fans Facebook group! Happy Planning!
