Hey everyone- Brittany here! Today I wanted to talk about the beauty themed stickers offered here at PopFizzPaper. One of my favorite things about the PopFizzPaper brand is the wide variety of stickers they put out and their ability to appeal to all types of planner girls! They’ve always offered a few beauty related stickers but several new designs have been released and I’m head over heels in love with them! So much so that I wanted to spotlight them in today’s post.
I’d say it’s a relatively common question amongst planner girls on how to use the monthly layout of the planner. As someone who doesn’t have kids, doesn’t need a planner for work, and doesn’t travel a lot my monthly layouts are rarely filled in with more than a few seasonal decorations. As I started using these PopFizzPaper beauty stickers I realized the personal care and beauty routines I try to keep up with can be tracked quite efficiently on my monthly spread!
Because I try to only shop sales and coupons I like writing down when semi-annual sales are going on, rewards points can be used, or when certain coupons will expire. The notes section of the monthly layout is great for marking promotions going on for an entire month.
This is also where I will track a task that just needs to be done at some point in the month but not on a specific day- like making sure I replace the brushhead on my Clarisonic.
If I’m planning on actually visiting a store instead of just ordering online, I will layer a shopping bag with the other sticker I’m using.
My day to day hair routine is pretty low maintenance so it’s a great reminder before special events or anything involving photos to remind myself to take extra time to blow out and style my hair.
I used to be terrible at remembering to wash my makeup brushes and sponges. I still don’t do at as much as I probably should but I feel better knowing it at least happens twice a month. It’s a big task to clean them all so I break it up each week. Every other Saturday I will wash my beauty blenders. In between I will wash my eye and face brushes. Writing this out in my planner helps me remember which brushes need to be washed next and breaking up the task keeps me from feeling overwhelmed #firstworldproblems
Other tasks that are great for the monthly spread are hair and nail appointments! Those often require scheduling farther in advance than a weekly spread so as soon as the appointment is made I mark it here and can refer back to it when it’s time to put it down for that week.
I hope I was able to give you some good ideas for using not only your monthly spread but also for keeping track of those fun (and often pesky) beauty tasks.
