Hi there- Brittany here! Today I’m sharing with you how I planned out a weekend getaway for my husband and I using the monthly notes page in my Erin Condren Hourly and some leftover planner stickers (well and Google too- but that’s second nature for me- like breathing. I google and breathe all day. Okay- enough about my love of Google!) My husband and I decided that instead of exchanging gifts for our 7th wedding anniversary we would take a weekend trip somewhere in our state. I immediately gathered my supplies so I could map out our weekend!
Once we decided where to go I researched the area to find the best places to stay, eat, and play! I wanted to have one place where I could take notes of everything we were interested in doing, information about the hotel, dates, and a small section for spending.
I also made space for a few checklists of things I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget- a couple out-of-the-ordinary items to pack, and last minute things to do at the house before we left. I also did a little decorating on the page which of course did nothing for our trip- but I can’t not decorate when stickers are involved! A little washi here, a few camera stickers there, and voila! In 2 days I was able to throw together a memorable getaway for my husband and I!
Our trip was a success and I was so happy I took the time to organize our plans before we left to avoid those last minute “uh-oh” situations where we don’t know where to eat or what to do or what time we’re expected to check out! :) I hope you enjoyed seeing how I planned our trip with planner stickers- and if you’re ever in Northern Utah feel free to follow our plans- we had an amazing time!
