Blackout Planning
Hey everyone! So today I wanted to share a new planning style I've been trying out! It's sort of a mix between "blackout planning" and bullet journaling. All you need is some plain black inserts for the personal ringbound size planners and a Sakura white gelly roll pen #08.
I'm also supplementing my spread with some stickers from PopFizzPaper. I especially LOVE the smaller icon stickers to use in my smaller planners suck as this one.
The first thing I did was lay down my date cover stickers. These are perfect because I don't have to worry about writing out the dates or days of the week with these guys. However, if you don't have them, you can always use cool handlettering to write out each day. I doodled some cute designs around each date sticker as well. I also used a TomBow dual brush pen to just lightly highlight the day of each week to add a light splash of color. Instead of using the Saturday and Sunday stickers, I combined the space and just used one "weekend" sticker.
Last but not least, I've gone ahead and filled out my spread with to-dos and events coming up! I really enjoyed using the fall bucket list stickers (finally getting around to doing some of these things). My favorite part of the spread, though, is the new doodle planner stickers! They add to the whole doodle element that I have going on in this spread.
Next, I just popped my inserts into my Filofax malden planner!
I hope you enjoyed this spread! I like trying out different things to keep things spicy and I definitely think blackout planning is a great way to be more creative about planning!
