DIY Place Cards.

Hi everyone- Brittany here! Can you believe we are practically half way through November?! Time is certainly flying by and holiday prep is in full swing! Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away so it’s time for another Fall craft. If you saw my post last month I made a “Thankful” banner that I plan to have on display for Turkey Day. I still have some papers and stickers left over from the Colors of The Wind kit so I’m making place cards to add to our Thanksgiving table setting that will match the banner! Let’s get started!

I pulled out all the papers I had left from the kit. The info card has a nice design on the back and would make for a very sturdy place card- I didn’t end up using it this time but it’s safely back in my stash for another project. I also grabbed the decorative feather stickers, white cardstock, rhinestones, scissors, adhesive roller, and an alpha sticker book. Once you have a count of everyone coming you can start cutting!

I messed around with the sizing and decided I liked the look of a 3x4 card folded in half with a 1x3 piece of cardstock in the center.

Once you have the base of your cards put together you can start adding their names. The great thing about this sticker book is that it has alphas in several fonts and sizes. This made it easy to fit long or short names on the card and keep it looking cohesive because they were all the same color!

With the names in place I added a few decorative elements- feather stickers from the kit and some rhinestones from my stash.

It’s as simple as that! I always appreciate the little extras on a decorated table- like personalized place cards. I’m excited to set up this year’s feast especially with the unexpected addition of purple to the traditional reds, oranges, browns, and yellows of Fall décor. I hope you enjoyed seeing another Fall craft with my PopFizzPaper goodies! Thanks for stopping by!
