Hi friends- Brittany here! Over the last couple months, I’ve been trying really hard to focus on my finances. I, like a lot of people these days, have all of my bills set up for automatic payment, my income is direct deposit, even my savings are automatically transferred. That system has worked really well for my husband and I in the 7 years we’ve been married but over time it has made us careless with the rest of the money. I wanted to be more intentional with the way we are spending our “extra” money so I decided to start tracking our spending, bills, income, and savings on paper. I also started channeling small amounts of our left over money each week into savings for different projects and/or goals. This paper tracking system has been working really well for me and I want to give you a look at how I’m using stickers to aid in staying on top of our finances! (This is a real week in my finances but I have left out some dollar amounts {like account totals, pay checks, etc} that were a little too personal to share)
I already had quite a few finance related stickers but I decided to pick up the weekly savings challenge stickers as well as the new corner payday stickers. Being a planner girl I also like to decorate my pages just a little with some bright washi tape. Anything involving the use of washi is easy to make a habit so clearly I had to use it ;) And finally my favorite pen at the moment- the PaperMate InkJoy gel.
Throughout the week I break up the day into 3 sections- bills and credit card payments, spending, and then our account totals at the end of the day. Since our weekend spending goes through on Monday I only track what goes through Monday-Friday and the weekend amounts get counted on Monday. I love pulling out appointment labels from PopFizzPaper and layering them with icons- this would work with either the credit cards or the dollar signs! I love days where neither of us spend any money so I make sure that is prominent on the page. Hopefully we’ll get to a point where we can have a few of those a week!
The corner payday stickers are the perfect size- these are the larger style but there are mini ones as well if you’d prefer those. They’d be great in a monthly view or even on your weekly pages. I love using the bill due stickers because they help them stand out and remind me when something is going to go through. They also have space for me to write the amount which I like so I don’t have to squeeze it in around the sticker. In the weekend slots of these inserts I’m tracking our transfers into savings as well as totaling up our spending into categories. At the end of each week I review what I’ve written in and add up how much went to bills, necessary spending, and how much was spent on frivolous purchases. (I like putting down a few mini emojis from PopFizzPaper because it keeps it fun but obviously it isn’t necessary.) Seeing these numbers at the end of the week motivate me for the next week to see how much less I can spend and more I can save!
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at my finance tracking and how I use stickers to keep the process functional, motivating, and fun! I mean who says it has to be all boring spreadsheets on the computer, right?!

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you how I stretched out one weekly sticker set from PopFizzPaper and made it last 3 weeks! At the same time, you’ll also be able to see how versatile these sets are as I have done a spread in my Happy Planner, Erin Condren Hourly, and on personal sized inserts!
First up is the Happy Planner spread!
I tend to do sticker heavy spreads in my Happy Planner so I used most of the box stickers this week. Since I was using the full box checklists I tried to limit the number of icons I used so that I would have them available for future spreads when my full boxes were gone! The kit comes with 7 meal icons but instead of using them all up in one week I paired 1 meal icon with a weekly box to track our dinners! I also like using the thicker strips of washi layered with an icon if I have run out of appointment labels!
The next week I used my Hourly planner!
I again conserved meal icons by layering one with a weekly box. I also didn’t want to use up all of my small checklist flags in my sidebar so I actually took a couple larger flags and cut them down to allow for 4 small checklists! I used washi strips to mark when my work day began and then actual washi tape going down the page to block off the hours I’m there. Icons are great in an hourly planner but you can use boxes and flags too! Boxes are a great way to block off time you’ll be doing a specific task or activity and if it is going to last a little longer than the size of the box- try turning it sideways as I did Saturday morning working on this blog post ;) That evening I made a checklist for myself using a flag when I had a lot I wanted to get done but in no specific order! This is also helpful if you have used up all of your icons but still want the task to stand out!
The last spread I did from this kit was in my personal-sized planner!
The inserts I use are sized to fit Erin Condren stickers. I searched for this specifically on Etsy because I wanted to make sure all of the stickers I already owned would fit. By this week almost all of my appointment labels were gone but I was able to use leftover washi strips and flags! I love that the flags in this kit have a white center making them very easy to read! They came in handy this week to track bills and paydays when I had run out of the actual bill due and payday stickers! I didn’t have any “To Do” or “Today” headers left but still wanted to make a small checklist each day. Luckily I had some of the thin washi strips left and I used those to section off my checklist from the rest of the day’s plans so that they stood out more!
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I as a white space planner stretch out my sticker sets over a couple weeks while still being able to plan functionally. I love being able to get the most for my money and that is easily achieved with the PopFizzPaper kits because they are so large and chockfull of functional stickers!
Here’s one last look at all of the spreads together! It’s been a month since I got this kit and I’m still so in love with the color combination! Until next time, Happy Planning!

Hi friends- it’s Brittany here! Today I am coming at you with a pocket letter made from the June PopFizzPaper Planner Kit and I couldn’t be more excited about this one. I had a blast putting it together and I hope you enjoy taking a look!
The colors of this kit are so pretty- I love how the gold pops against the black, pink, and white! I used the papers from the kit, made the sassy quotes the focal point of almost every pocket, and accented with the 2 washi tapes! I ended up pulling very few embellishments from my stash.
Here is the top row! My favorite card is the one with the pull tab! Stay tuned to the end and I’ll show you what’s inside!
I’m torn between which pocket I like the best in the middle row. I’ve always had a weakness for shaker pockets but I can’t get over the fun PopFizzPaper emoji stickers paired with the “too sassy for you” quote.
Along the bottom row I’m sharing one of the paperclips I embellished in my last post. I also did another pull tab and put together a washi card with samples of the tapes I used in this project.
I decided to try something new and make pull tabs to reveal little hidden embellishments! In the pocket with my letter I added this adorable little critter and some alphas that say “Hi” so that when you pull the tab a little friend pops up! I washi taped the top just enough for the tab to fit through but stop the whole thing from coming out!
In the other I spelled out “You are” and when you pull the tab it reveals a sticker from the kit which says “totes my fave”
Pocket letters are what re-introduced me into the world of papercrafting (I was a bit of a scrapbooker as a child) and they will always be my first love!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi there! Have you all been creating with your June Planner Kits? As soon as I got mine I knew I wanted to make some sassy embellished paperclips with the decorative sticker sheet so I took photos along the way to share with all of you! The great thing about the method I used is that it gives the glossy look of lamination without the cost of a laminator! All it takes is clear packing tape!
Here’s a look at what you’ll need!
You can make these in any shape either freehand or with a paper punch! It’s up to you! It’ll look best if it fits within in the width of your packing tape to avoid any seams so keep that in mind as you are choosing your shape! For my first one I made a simple flag out of the paper from the kit. I layered some of the gold washi and then put down the sticker “Fries before guys” (I think it’s going to be my new life mantra- sorry husband!). Then for added thickness and color contrast I cut another flag slightly larger and glued them together!
Once you are happy with your embellishment it’s time to laminate! Cut 2 pieces of tape larger than the paper and lay one down sticky side up. Place your embellishment in the center and cover with the second piece of tape face down. Firmly seal together and smooth out any air bubbles. Trim the excess tape evenly around the edges to match the shape of your paper!
Now all you have to do is glue the paperclip to the back with your hot glue gun, let it dry, and you have a snazzy embellished paperclip with a laminated look and feel!
Here are a couple other designs I made!
I’m so happy with how these turned out! Embellishing paperclips is such a fun and easy way to get crafty without much effort. I find it to be a great way to unwind after a long day! Plus, they look so cute peeking out of your planner!
If you like embellishing paperclips too I’d love for you to tag me on Instagram so I can see!

Hey everyone- Brittany here! Today I want to share with you how I made tags- both for organizing and for gifts using full box stickers!
I thought these notebook paper full boxes from PopFizzPaper would be perfect for organizing craft supplies!
I pulled out some paper from my scrap bin and applied the full box stickers to the patterned side. I made sure to line up with the edges as much as I could so that there was less cutting for me to do! Then all I had to do was trim around the stickers to my desired width.
Next I used some black ink for definition on the edges. This is completely optional I just really like the effect it gives! With an 1/8” hole punch I made the holes for the twine!
All that was left was for me to decide on my categories that needed labeling (I went with stamps & ink, hot glue gun, and paper punches) and attach the twine! I made sure to leave plenty of length to the twine so that I could easily attach it to my bins and trim the excess afterwards.
I love labeling bins to make it easy to find my supplies and even easier to remember where they belong once I’m done! Here’s how it looks on my shelves!
This same concept also works for making a unique tag for a gift or project! I used the floral watercolor full boxes from the May Kit, placed them on cardstock, trimmed, inked, punched, and tied! I even embellished a few of them- the possibilities are endless! It’s a great way to clear out those bits of string and scraps of paper we are all holding on to because us crafting ladies can’t seem to throw ANYTHING away!
I hope you enjoyed this simple DIY! Do you have a go-to project you find yourself making time and time again when you have extra scraps and supplies to use up? Please share in the comments!

Hi everyone! My name is Brittany and I’m so excited to be doing a guest post here at PopFizzPaper! I’m a diehard POPFIZZFAN! I’m a PopFizzPerson, I like other PopFizzPeople… just consider me a PopFizzPfanatic! Today I’m sharing the pocket letter I made using the supplies from the May Planner Kit! I’m relatively new to the world of pocket letters and tend to gravitate towards over-embellishment but when I saw the gorgeous papers created by Dani and Brooklynne I knew they had to be the focal point of my project!
Let’s get started!
Whenever I create a pocket letter I like to pull out everything I think I might use and spread it out on my desk. So I pulled out the May kit and a few other tools and embellishments I thought would come in handy.
Since I knew I wasn’t going to be using too many embellishments I decided to create dimension in each pocket by “fussy” cutting around the designs and layering different sheets together.
On the bottom row I took the floral design from one page, the greenery from another, and layered them together on the yellow floral page.
In the middle I kept it simple layering pink and blue watercolor pages.
I wanted to put more florals in the top row, keep the blue background, and still have dimension so I again “fussy” cut the floral design but layered it on the same blue paper.
Once I had each card figured out I started embellishing with the stamps that came in the kit! I really love these little butterflies and the intricate corner stamp!
While I had the inkpad out I used a trick I learned from former Creative Team member Vanessa! She is always adding dimension to her projects with a little black ink around the edges and I’m obsessed with the effect it gives so I like to do it too!
I wanted to incorporate the washi tape and stickers from the kit but was afraid they’d look too dark against the soft watercolors of the paper however, once the edges had been inked up they looked perfect together! I especially like how the purple of the paper peeks through the transparent background of the washi tape!
I pulled out this sticker from my stash that incorporated most of the colors of the paper but was missing purple. I solved that problem by layering it with a dark purple flower from the kit!
After I had all of the cards embellished and in their pockets I decided to add a few details to the outside of the sleeve. I added a few flat back pearls and a Heidi Swapp acetate piece that says “Smile”.
At this point all that was left was my shaker pocket! I don’t have a fusing tool so I use double-sided tape to close up my shakers!
I pulled out all the little sparkly bits I wanted to add and then I stuffed that pocket full! I really tried to use a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes and I love how it turned out! Although I’m not sure I can really call it a shaker pocket when it is too full to shake…
Here’s how the whole pocket letter looks put together!
The colors of the paper reminded me of the amazing Arizona sunsets from when I was a kid growing up outside of Phoenix and I tried to recreate that in the pocket letter. The yellow peeks out from behind the flowers like the sun before it goes down with the “sky” fading from pink to blue to purple. I know it is simple when it comes to embellishments but the paper itself is so intricate that I’m glad I let it speak for itself instead of covering any of it up!
Before I go I thought I would also share how I wrapped up this pocket letter!
I simply layered together a mint doily, gold doily, white doily, washi tape, PFP sticker, cardstock embellishment and tied it in a bow!
There’s my entire project! I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the supplies from the PopFizzPlanner Kit to create a pocket letter! I’ve loved having this out on my desk all month as I worked on the blog post and I think I might just keep it for myself instead of swapping it with one of my pen pals! I feel like that’s breaking the official code of pocket lettering (ya know… if we had one!!)
Do you make pocket letters? What’s your favorite way to create them- each pocket full of embellishment and unique to the other cards or as one large picture? Let me know in the comments if you’re team embellishment, team paper, or if you like making all different kinds!
Thanks so much for letting me share with you! #PopFizzFriendsForever
