DIY Monthly Dashboard for Erin Condren

In the Erin Condren Planners there are notes pages at the beginning of the month. I have found myself wondering what I want to do with these pages. This month I tried using the scrapbook papers from the May Planner Kit to give these pages functional purpose.
As I worked through my ideas I was reminded of things I liked as a kid, manipulative elements. I also decided that my goals were not things I wanted to broadcast to the world when my planner is open to my classroom.
To begin the process I measured the notes page and divided it into 4 quadrants and one long vertical section at the bottom. I chose the following four titles for the 4 sections:
-
Financial Goals
-
Fitness Goals
-
Major Events
-
Cleaning Schedule
For the vertical section I decided it would be my motivational quote area.
The four quadrants started out to where I was going to write on top of them and just glue them to the paper. I then changed my mind due to the privacy and chose to make them post it note style using a repositionable glue stick.
By doing them post it note style it allows me to decorate each quadrant and then write underneath them for privacy.
Here is how you can cut down the papers to fit your Erin Condren.
The quadrant squares are measured 3 ¼” by 3” (square) and the vertical section is measured 3 ½” long by 1 ½” high (rectangle) sometimes you may not get it exact or even exactly straight but that is ok you can trim later as needed.
You can then play around with fonts and colors to write your titles for each quadrant. I used sharpie markers and paper mate flairs.
This is a pretty quick project you can do to make the page more functional and hopefully it won’t go as an unused page in your planner in the future
Happy Planning,
Teresa
